Every course features two wines — one from Rajat, one from Mikey — and both of them will speak to their wine at the table as each course arrives. Guests taste two wines per course and hear directly from the people who made them.
Rajat Parr is a three-time James Beard Award winner, co-author of two books considered essential texts in the wine world, and the farmer behind Phelan Farm — 11.5 acres three miles from the Pacific in Cambria, California. Eric Asimov of the New York Times called his wines "resonant, savory and alive in the glass" in a feature published six weeks ago.
Mikey Giugni founded Scar of the Sea in 2012 and was named a Wine Enthusiast 40 Under 40 Tastemaker. As of this week his 2022 Bassi Vineyard Syrah took the number one spot on the 1976 Redo — one of the most prestigious blind tasting competitions in American wine. He'll also be pouring wines from Lady of the Sunshine, his wife Gina's biodynamic project, which was featured alongside his work in the same New York Times piece.
